The families of teenagers missing after a tragic inferno at a establishment in a Switzerland's winter destination are confronting an excruciating period of uncertainty for answers and pleading for clues about their children publicly.

The blaze ripped through the a popular bar in Cans-Montana, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Verified video reveal the ceiling being engulfed in flames as bottles with sparklers are raised in celebration.

Authorities have stated that it could take days if not weeks to identify the fatalities of the tragedy, which killed four dozen individuals and injured another 119. A spokesperson said on Friday that the majority of the injured have been identified, with work continuing to name the remaining few.

In the interim, relatives have been taking to online platforms to request clues about their friends who were in attendance that evening.

Appeals for the Missing

The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are not yet determined, according to an heartfelt request from his parent.

The resident of a town near Lausanne, told a publication that she had gone back to the city to check whether he was in the hospital, while his father did the same in the capital, but was unsuccessful.

"This is a living nightmare, a horror. Either I find my son in the morgue, or I find him in a serious state. Words cannot describe it," she told the paper.

She continued that some of his peers had been found with burns covering a significant portion of their bodies. "It's unspeakable; they went through an absolute nightmare."

The Italy's government has indicated that a number of of its young people have not been located.

Included in that group is Emanuele Galeppini, a teenage junior golfer, who hailed from Italy but now living in the UAE.

The Italian Golf Federation has stated that he is no longer with us, without mentioning the tragedy, paying tribute to a "talented young man who embodied dedication and true sportsmanship."

His father, told media that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around the new year. An official spokesperson has stated that a formal confirmation of his death is still pending.

Further Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is also unaccounted for. His mother explained that he had been on vacation but had gone out with friends and ended up at the venue.

"A close friend told me they fled after the fire broke out and that he had his mobile with him, but then at a specific moment he they were separated," she said, adding he had been wearing a distinctive piece of jewelry.

One of his educators said, "I've always been struck by his good nature and positive demeanor, combined with great responsibility. Every time offer to help out."

Alice Kallergis, who holds dual Swiss and Greek citizenship but lives full-time in Switzerland, was also present on that night, according to sources.

Her sibling has shared an appeal on social media, saying the relatives has had "no information" regarding the 15-year-old or the group she was with, who are also unaccounted for.

Consular authorities from her other nation say they are closely watching the situation.
